Kristy joined Minter Ellison in 2000, bringing with her 10 years' experience in advising employees and unions on employment related matters.
She provides strategic advice on all aspects of the employment relationship: - preparing contracts of employment and advising on employee entitlements; - preparing employment policies; - advising on recruitment related issues; - advising about occupational health and safety, workers' compensation and rehabilitation issues; - advising on all aspects of performance management; - investigating workplace grievances (including complaints of discrimination, harassment and bullying) and workplace injuries (including alleged breaches of the occupational health and safety legislation); - advising about employment terminations and acting in relation to unfair dismissals and other termination proceedings; - dealing with restraints of trade and the protection of confidential information; - assisting with the implementation of restructures; - representing clients in proceedings before specialist industrial courts and tribunals.
